PROJECT UPDATE!!!!

Framing has commenced on our Beaconsfield extension project. A nice addition to the back of the home with a beautiful deck attached is going to enlarge this home for a growing family. We’re also adding an attached garage to the front of the house to load and unload the hockey bags! Stay tuned for more updates.

PROJECT UPDATE !!!

Framing on our Our Pointe-Claire project is complete. With the addition of 2 ground floor extensions and a second story spanning the house in its entirety, we turned this 1000 sq/ft house into a 3,500 sq/ft palace. With finishings to come, this home is going to be stunning. Great work by the team in battling the cold winter days to get it done.

I don’t usually post personal, but I could not be a more proud father.
From a 10 year old Ringuette player, We switched and started playing peewee recreational hockey…. The fire was lit!
After 3 years of hard work Vic made batam AAA. With a drive unlike any other, relentless off season workouts, she made Midget AAA as a first year.
The relentless determination didn’t stop there and in her second year, she made team captain.
We are extremely excited for the journey to continue with a commitment for the next 3 years to

PROJECT UPDATE!!!

Our Pointe-Claire bungalow transformation is taking shape.
With the second floor on, exterior walls up and roof trusses completed, we are now closed in.
Only one way we do our builds and it’s with products. 3/4” tongue and groove advantech plywood, R6.6 ZIP system panels and to top it all off, 1/2” ZIP systems sienna plywood on the roof.
We are by far and away one of the premier builders in Quebec in using these advanced products.
Next up, interior partitions to complete, before we head outdoors again, to peel off the brick on the main floor and add our ZIP panels. Almost forgot, we also have new front entrance extension to frame out also. Stay tuned for more updates.

NEW PROJECT ALERT!!!!

Get ready for this Pointe-Claire bungalow transformation.
We added a 16’x28’ extension off the kitchen area on one side of the home, along with another 10’x20’ bump out to to front for a new entrance area. To top it all off, we will be adding a second story above the home in its entirety.
With the boys working their butts off in the cold elements, we are pushing to have the roof framed by the holidays.
The new extension off the kitchen area has been framed , we then removed the old roof, framed up the second floor joists and added our wood 3/4” tongue and grooved advantech plywood.
Nothing but the best materials on all our builds, our panelled walls are soon to come.

PROJECT UPDATE !!!!

Our structural slab,kitchen extension in Lachine is entering the finishing stages.
With the ditra membrane and heated cable installed in the new kitchen area, we had to get the floor in the dining room on the same level.
Instead of wasting time with traditional layers of plywood to level it up, we opted for a self-leveling cement, followed by a full glue down engineered floor.
We will be sanding and staining the existing upper level hardwood flooring ,to match the newly installed floor.
With trim work and kitchen cabinetry to follow shortly, this design concept by is going to be stunning. Stay tuned for more updates.

PROJECT COMPLETED!!!!!!

Check out the before and after videos of our Beaconsfield complete home makeover. An absolute stunning design concept by . Eight months of construction, hundreds of emails and lots of patience produced this magnificent space. With the city permits, time delays and costs associated with tearing down old and rebuilding new, many clients are opting to keep the existing structure and do a complete home makeover. There are pros and cons to both sides. One thing is certain, with , the final product is always SPECTACULAR !!!!

PROJECT UPDATE!!!!

Our beaconsfield project framing is moving along nicely. With extensive deterioration of the existing framing uncovered during the demolition, we completely reframed 2 sections of the house while shoring up the existing foundation in one area, and adding screw piles in another.
Framing should be complete in a few weeks. Stay tuned for a follow up post on all the structural components we have done to date, to get to where we are.

PROJECT UPDATE!!!!

Our 3 story extension is ready for backfill.
With the footings and walls formed and poured, our Dorval addition is ready for framing.

Complete redo of the framing and membrane on this low slope roof on one of our projects.
Unfortunately for the clients, our original scope of work on this project was solely to properly prepare the exterior of the home with the Supply and installation of the board and batten…..but this project has snowballed.
The roof was done only 5 years prior. It leaked from the get go and never drained properly due to improper sloping.
We stripped the roof back to its original trusses, re framed it and had a new torch on membrane installed.
Unfortunately more and more we are seing the effects of what I call COVID CONTRACTORS. These are projects that were done during covid in which the contractor came out of nowhere due to the massive demand of work and the client wanted the job done as soon as possible and did not due their due diligence.
In the end the project will be done properly by the team , but unfortunately it will come at a hefty price to the client.
