Holiday trailer carpet repair.

This one was tricky to say the least.
Because the carpet couldn’t be matched, myself and the owner removed the whole piece from under the bunk storage. I cut off the good carpet that was under the bunk and used that as my piece to cut and seam into the damaged spot. Then the customers mom actually sewed on new edging for it making it look seamless and new. Very impressed with how it turned out.

This was the first carpet damage I’ve ever seen that the client attempted to sew back together! I was very impressed. At 85 years old she spent a few hours pushing a sewing needle through the carpet to hold the loose fibres in place.
Mad respect.
