Just a heads up that if you have received any plants from us this week I had a customer find a few small aphids on her plants. Please have a look and if you spot any give them a quick dunk in some soapy water to kill them.
I do a check on any plants that I pull from the greenhouse to ship but it seems a few slipped past me. (Old eyes!)
We haven’t sprayed the plants in the last six weeks or so as we have a large population of syrphid flies that move into the greenhouse in spring. These usually clean them up really well and continue to do so through the summer for us. We had a large amount of syrphid that pupated yesterday and there were hundreds flying about the greenhouse that should take care of any aphids in there this week.

First bloom on Drogons Fire in the garden today. Not the prettiest flower but sure smelled good last night.
