Fixed some "broken" shutters recently. Talius products never cease to amaze me. These are the original "BC Roll shutter" products. 35 years old and all still working.

Replaced broken hangars on 3 of 4, cleaned the guides and they work wonderfully. Truly a long term investment.

How many products you know give you 35+ years?

And now Talius just extended all of their warranties to 10 years. Blessed to be able to represent such an amazing company and its products.

Fun little project. The swing door we installed is built from prison-grade, heavy-gauge steel.
The tenants had ongoing issues with break-in attempts in their parkade — that ends here. This door isn’t giving anyone a way in.

Fully welded construction, anti-pry angle at the astragal, primed steel throughout, and anchored with wedge anchors below. No rust, no weak points, no break-ins. Built right — and fully fire-rated.

Huge credit to the crew on the paint job — turned out unreal.

Standard but not standard parking Gate installation.

With the 3" tracks, we had about 1" max of space between the walls and the tracks. Painful to put track bolts in, can't use clamps for positioning (but we have our ways), and 3 safety devices.

I love projects like these. I'll be honest, I've literally installed thousands of commercial doors with all types of teams. The challenging installs are the ones that give me the best satisfaction, but sometimes it's nice to turn the brain off and just work in auto mode as well.

But overall, for me, I love challenges. Looks simple, but those who know, know.

Center guide rail for a split shutter. We removed the old, much larger one after we deemed it unsafe to continue operating (it was broken when we came to fix it).

The project involved framing, wood working, staining plus more and came out perfect!
