Grow Tasty is located in the rolling hills of Northumberland County. Nestled beside the 11,000 acre Ganaraska Forest and situated on the Oak Ridges Moraine, a natural habitat area 1 hour from Toronto and home to a range of unique wildlife. The plant selection that we offer includes over 100 different varieties of culinary herbs to excite your cooking and your palate. We have over 60 different vari

eties of exotic edible plants with scents and flavours like honey melon, pineapple, coconut and much more, over 20 varieties of edible flowers to grace your garden and your plate. We have over 15 varieties of fruiting plants to keep fresh fruits growing in your garden all season long and over 150 different varieties of heirloom vegetable starts. Our heirloom vegetable collection includes everything from artichoke to zucchini, with 76 varieties of heirloom tomatoes alone with every shape and colour imaginable. We would like to show you how visually beautiful and fragrant edible plants can be in your landscape, included in our plant selection are 38 different hardy lavender varieties. Lavender comes in white, pink, shades of blues and the traditional lavender colour. The flowers and leaves are edible the scent is heavenly. Come browse our two sale greenhouses and for now see the progress of our edible display garden as we work on completing the space that will have winding paths, cascading water feature, stone bridge, outdoor cafe’, and gift shop. Thank You. We are open for the season now, 7 days a week 10:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. until the end of October. Fully stocked for herbs, edible flowers, and veggie starts. Still working on the lavender varieties which will take to the end of the month or early June. Thank you for your interest.

Danette participated in our Health and Wellness Expo this year and is a wealth of information on medicinal herbs. Anyone interested in learning more on the topic would certainly gain much by attending.

We had a great medicine making workshop today. Thank you to everyone who came out; and a big thank you to Danette for sharing her knowledge with us.

Although the terms are used interchangeably, there is a difference. The sole purpose of a maze is to trick, confuse and frustrate. A labyrinth on the other hand is designed for well-being, a way to quiet the mind, a walking meditation.
