Another rose to bring some romance, beauty, and poetry in flowers to your day.

"It was June, and the world smelled of roses. The sunshine was like powdered gold over the grassy hillside."

Having an orchard and managing fruit trees can sometimes feel a bit daunting. There seem to be a myriad of pests and diseases, along with a whole slew of differing opinions on how to control these things. "The Holistic Orchard" is my go to reference for all of these things. I have also included the recipe for the spray that I use which comes in the booklet included in all your orders from

** I buy all my supplies for my holistic spray from Whiffletree

My trees are in the petal drop stage and I sprayed all of them this morning. I can already see fruit forming on so many of my apple, pear, and plum trees. Very exciting!

I am up to about 12 apple trees, 8 pear (European and Asian,) 4 plum, and 5 peach trees. I think i need a larger capacity sprayer to cover all these trees quicker. Also note that I have not munched around the trees this year although it is on my list. I have however cleared around the trunk of each tree and I am watching daily for the dreaded apple tree borers.
