Out of hundreds of communities across Canada, Port Alberni has been chosen as the very first town featured on Home Town Takeover Canada!
The HGTV series follows Bryan and Sarah Baeumler as they help revitalize an entire community through projects that transform homes, local businesses, and public spaces. This fall, millions of Canadians will get to see what we've always known: this isn't just a place on the map. It's a community built on resilience, hard work, natural beauty, and people who show up for each other.
For years, we've watched our city invest in itself, support local businesses, create new opportunities, and build momentum for the future. Now that story is about to be shared on a national stage.
