We've all seen the devastating images of destruction from the Jasper Wildfire and we wanted to help raise funds for those affected. While supplies last, $10 from every Woodsii Rose sold will be going to the Red Cross Jasper Wildfire Fund. Very similar to Alberta's provincial flower, the Alberta Wild Rose (Prickly Rose/Rosa acicularis), the Woodsii Rose is a native rose with pink flowers and is a great addition to a native landscape.

Faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive, able to leap tall buildings….ok, that one might be a stretch BUT our chariot driver Darren Twerdochlib was FAST at Westerner Days this week. With an overall time of 379.47, Darren snagged first place for the chariots! Congratulations Darren, it was so much fun watching and cheering you on as you ripped around the track with our Parkland Nursery banner. Thank you Westerner Park for hosting another great week of races at Westerner Days Fair & Exposition. And thank you to the talented Lesley Young for the amazing pictures!

Nothing like a sale to kick off summer!! Alpine Currants in a #2 pot are leafing out and ready for their forever home. These dense, deciduous shrubs have green-yellow flowers in the spring and make fantastic hedges. Sale price is $24.75 plus GST until May 17/24 or while supplies last.

The little snowman our staff made over the past week is melting with Christmas spirit (or because of the +6 days we have been having). Thank you to everyone who was a part of our 2023 season and who chose us to be their “green connection”.
Our office is closed until Monday, January 8, 2024 as our staff enjoy time with their family and loved ones. We wish everyone a wonderful holiday season and all the best in 2024.
