Work in progress, still to wainscoting behind toilet around vanity.
Took some time lay out this tile to match pattern and nice cuts, but that’s why a layout is so important— not just lick and stick them up and hope for the best! 🤣

Prep, floor, walls -repeat and repeat
Fun job to work with the homeowner’s vision creating the space she loves!
Was a little hard at first with OCD of perfect grout joints and having tile smooth and flush. -not gonna lie-
But the newest trend are this Zellige tiles. Amazing 1970-1980 colours with texture and - not square!
I always let homeowners what to expect with the tile choice.
This was a fun choice and grout was my friend ❤️

Removing tile is 🤞simple if you have the right tools lol
Always account for a 50/50 chance of drywall repairs and paint touch ups
My go to tools to start is a hammer, margin trowel (mine well work missing handle but still works) and my handy dandy flat screw driver!
I start by hitting the middle of the tile and carefully pry off. If you hit too hard or pry you may weaken the drywall behind depending on previous install.
If tile is stuck good and drywall damage is clear, save your energy and time and use a multi vibe tool to cut out and replace the drywall.
Homeowners usually can handle this demo and save $$$ :::: if not call me.

This tub surround finished nice and on 1/3 point 😂
