Let's talk about GM High Security Ignition Cylinders,

These are often found with the Flip style key and fobs in most Passenger cars and SUV's from 2010 and newer, as well as the the Chevrolet and GMC trucks 2014 and newer.

They will one day out of the blue stop working. DO NOT TRY AND FORCE THESE, you may end up like this customer with a broken igniton and require it to be replaced. This opening the first photo the inner cylinder is broken right in half, But if you call me, save a tow bill and costly replacement at a dealer or garage, I can come out to the vehicle, remove it with out drilling it out and repair it for a fraction of the cost from your dealer or garage.

In my second picture you can see the difference between a new ignition wafer and an old worn out one, the tab that follows the groove in the gets worn and thin, when it is worn out like this it doesnt become level in the cylinder to allow it to turn, a simple rebuild and you will be on your way in no time with my service!!!

Did you know I can do module programming to for some vehicles!!

This 2017 Chevrolet Silverado needed a new BCM, customer installed it, I came to the vehicle and programmed it with OEM GM software, and relearned keys and remotes!!

1991 NISSAN SKYLINE

Work in progress for this customer but cant do a lot of work if you don't have keys for it, nice quick easy 10 minute job to finish off my evening.

Darn turned in to another nearly 14 hour day, my boss sure can be a slave driver some days.

Got to put the 4x4 Van in action, truck was around the backside of the farm in the field, after a crazy rain storm!

1958 Pink Cadillac, had to make a key to get the trunk open, then made a key for rhe door as they didnt have one for that to! Such a nice car!

Another lost key job on the side of the highway!

This happens alot actually, but after today's experience I think it is time for some emergency vehicle blue flashing lights to help get people to at least move over.
