Bonnechere Excavating Inc - BEI Locally owned and operated General Contracting company working primarily in the heavy civil field. BEI was founded as an equipment rental business in 1989.

Through the 1990’s, BEI grew as an equipment rental business and acquired additional pieces of heavy equipment. In the year 2000, BEI expanded as an organization working primarily as a subcontractor. By the year 2003, the business began tendering, managing and completing projects as a General Contractor. BEI has enjoyed continued success in the heavy civil contracting business and we attribute this success to the company’s staff. The company operates as a team and has a strong team environment.

Pakenham Five Span Bridge, originally built in 1903, is getting the structural refresh it deserves — and we’re proud to be part of preserving this iconic crossing. Masons are working hard replacing stones on the inside walls, while our Structures Team is replacing expansion joints, deck drains, and completing general concrete repairs.
