On this day....36 years ago

Seen on final approach to RWY06 on 30th June 1988 is British Airways Douglas DC-10-30 (c/n 47888), G-MULL.

The aircraft first flew on 22nd June 1979 and was delivered to Ariana Afghan Airways as YA-LAS on 21st September. After just under 6 years with the airline she became G-MULL with British Caledonian Airways on 21st March 1985. On 14th April 1988 the aircraft joined British Airways until 1st December 2002 when she was sold to Centurian Air Cargo, converted into a freighter and registered as N47888. The aircraft was placed into storage at Lima, Peru in May 2010 before joining Cielos del Peru as N900AR on 22nd November 2010. She was withdrawn from use in August 2011 and acquired by Record Aircraft Parts until being completely scrapped by 2019.

This year, we are excited to welcome Canadian singer-songwriter, Rêve , to the main stage at 8:45 p.m. as our headliner! With a full day of live entertainment on multiple stages, a beer garden, artist exhibits, and midway, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Don't forget to stick around and experience our fantastic fireworks display starting at 10 p.m. that will illuminate the sky.
