Hello friends and neighbours!
I just wanted to say a big Thank You to all of you who bought my extras this year - I’m glad there was no waste of fresh veggies.
I loved meeting and exchanging with you on our gardening successes and yes, our failures too 😁.
Due to the high costs involved(time, money, my herniated disc, mental health, lost space in my yard, etc…), I have decided that I will only be growing a minimal amount of vegetables next year, and they will be for my personal use.
The above said, if you drive by my place next summer and see me outside, don’t hesitate to stop and say Hi!
Once again, thank you, and I wish you the best in your future gardening endeavours. 😘 🤗

FINAL veggie sale tomorrow Saturday October 7th from 09:00 to noon, CASH ONLY:
- potatoes 🥔 (red or white)
- rutabagas(small)
- Golden cherry tomatoes(10 out of 10 on the sweetness scale)
- Tomatoes(all sizes and degrees of ripeness) 🍅
- Peppers🌶️ (mild to extremely hot, green to red): Carolina Reaper, Jalapeño, Chile(Fushimi), Hot Hungarian Wax peppers, Piquillo, Habañero, Tabasco, and Paprika

My next sale will be held this Saturday Oct 7th from 09:00 to noon. Tomorrow I will do an inventory of what I have left and I will then write a new post. This will likely be the last sale of the year as starting next week, the weather will no longer be favorable for continued growth.

So it looks like it’s going to be 18 and above, and sunny ☀️, all next week, so I’m going to hold off on what will most likely be my last veggies sale either on Friday October 6th or Saturday the 7th. I will let you know on Thursday.

When I saw last week that we were supposed to get nothing but sun ☀️ for the next two weeks, I decided to fertilize my veggies 🍅🫑🌶️ one last time, continue watering them, cover them at night, etc…, to see what would happen, and it looks like it’s working!
So, since it’s supposed to be beautiful tomorrow and Saturday, I will hold off on selling until Sunday so my “babies” can continue sunbathing 🤪😂. I will post again on Saturday evening to let you know what I’ll have available for Sunday.

IMP: SALE DAY CHANGED! ! !
I will not be holding a sale tomorrow Friday Sept 22nd, but will instead be selling my veggies at the yard sale me and several of my neighbours will be holding on Saturday the 23rd from 8am to 1pm on Downey Avenue(house numbers 100 to 199). Hopefully I’ll see you there.
*We’ll be posting yard sale item details on Kijiji and Marketplace tomorrow.

For tomorrow’s sale(Friday September 15th(09:00 to 12:00), I will have celery, tomatoes*, a few last cucumbers and cucamelons, zucchinis, lots of bell peppers(green, orange or red), jalapeño peppers, Hot Hungarian Wax peppers, Carolina Reaper peppers, Golden cherry tomatoes, lots of green Fushimi chili peppers(they taste like a green bell pepper, but not as pronounced), and rutabagas(aka turnip).
Cash only.
All veggies have been grown without pesticides or insecticides.

*If you’re looking for green tomatoes to make chow chow, I have a lot of those too!

Good morning all!
Just to let you know I won’t be open today Tuesday September 12th as my veggies need to grow/ripen. I’ll provide an update later this week for my Friday sale. Hopefully Mother Nature will cooperate a bit more than what is being predicted this week.
