Basil update - so I managed to choose the coldest, gloomiest day in February to repot my grocery store basil. Out of 17 plant babies, I repotted 15, one or two per pot. It wasn't looking very promising the first couple of weeks, I was sure I'd lose a good number. However, all 15 have survived! Over one month later and it's time for a top trim to encourage stronger stem growth. 🌱

I audibly gasped when I saw my orchid bloom again!! After sitting dormant for some time (I’m talking a couple years) I repotted, placed it in filtered light, fertilized and was finally rewarded. 😁 🎉 Re-blooming orchids has been somewhat elusive for me so it’s super exciting when it happens.
