Most people never see this part of the job.

Replacing a storm pump system meant one of our technicians had to enter a confined space to access equipment below ground level. Jobs like these require specialized training, safety procedures, and the right equipment to make sure everyone goes home safely at the end of the day.

From harnesses and retrieval systems to confined space protocols and continuous communication, safety isn’t something we take shortcuts on.

The end result is a properly functioning storm pump system helping protect the property from unwanted water buildup, but what stands out to us is the preparation that happens before the work even begins.

It’s a good reminder that plumbing isn’t always under sinks and behind walls. Sometimes it’s in the places most people never see.

This week, Scott took advantage of the sunshine to give his van a little spring cleaning and get everything dialed in. A well-organized van means less time searching for parts, faster service, and a better experience for our customers.

🚧 Sewer Repair in Progress 🚧

Curtis and Brock were out repairing a damaged sewer line after roots found their way into the system through an improperly sealed cleanout connection.

What started as a small installation issue eventually led to a broken sewer line and a much larger repair.

It’s a good reminder that attention to detail matters. Taking the time to do a job properly can help prevent costly repairs, unexpected emergencies, and major disruptions down the road.

Curtis and Brock worked hard to restore the line and get everything flowing properly again. Great work, team! 👏

Today’s the day! Wade (and his team-mate, Niu Savea) are out on the Arbutus Ridge Golf Course for the Young Life Iron Man, golfing 100 holes in honour of Cole Williams.

Cole was a beautiful young man we had the privilege of working with a few years back, and he left a lasting mark on our team. The epic ducky bucket hat is classic Cole, and we went with Milwaukee red in honour of his love for the brand, his tool collection was truly his pride and joy.

Wade was up and out super early this morning, and he’s still going strong on HOLE 70!!!!

From fish tanks and plants to a few fun decorations, she’s been busy turning her workspace into a place that feels welcoming, comfortable, and uniquely Lorie!!! So fun!!!!
