Are you keeping your air conditioner healthy and happy?
Don't set the temperature too low, your air conditioning unit can freeze up.
Give the unit a good cleaning. Blowing it with an air compressor is a quick and thorough cleaning.
Change your furnace filter every 3 weeks. If it's dirty the air will not flow and it could shut down.

Time to put your Air Conditioner to bed and warm up your furnace.
To ensure top performance for your A/C next season take a little time to pamper it now. Make sure it's clean and free of leaves and debris. Disconnect power and cover it up and your done.
Here's a few tips getting your furnace ready for the Alberta winter. If you haven't had your furnace professionally cleaned in the last 2 we recommend that you get it done. Change your furnace filter now and check it every month, this will keep your air cleaner and your furnace will run more efficiently.
