If there is potential for water to get behind your siding, run your flashing over the siding nailing fl**ge below to direct water outside where it should be.

Not the best place for a window with a Roof draining above. It can be done but a LOT of extra care must be taken to funnel water out. Never rely on sheathing tape alone.
