Today, we stand with the Ottinger family as we mourn the loss of a great man.
Harald was more than just a client—he was a dear friend and a cherished presence in our lives for over 20 years. His stories, his humour, and his unforgettable personality left a lasting mark on all of us.
The memories we shared with Harold will continue to bring smiles for years to come.

It is with the deepest sorrow, we announce the passing of Harald Uwe Ottinger, beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend. Harald passed away after a courageous three-year battle with pancreatic cancer at the age of 67. Harald’s perseverance, strength, and tenacity kept him working on his landscaping until just a week ago, a testament to his unwavering spirit despite his illness.
Harald leaves behind his loving wife of 42 years Louise. He will be terribly missed by his three sons, Alex (Catherine), Addison (Brittany) and Nik. His grandchildren Mason, Hudson, Autumn and Owen. He also leaves behind his older sister Laura (Mani). Harald was predeceased by his mother Margarete Muller, father Rudolf Ottinger, and brother Manfred Ottinger. Harald was a serious hard-working man but touched many lives with his sense of humor. Harald was an honourable man dedicated to his family and to his work. He spent most of his life providing his landscaping services to our local community, serving hundreds of customers and beautifying our neighbourhood over the years. Harald carried on his parents’ legacy and now will pass it on to his boys. Harald’s passion for his work will live on through his family as they carry on with his work within the community with great pride.
Cremation services have been entrusted to Maison Funéraire Signature (Roussin). An informal celebration of Life will be planned at a later, details to follow.
