On this week's reno update we wanted to share with you a first floor overhaul that we did for a client. The entire main floor of this home was emptied to make it a brighter space! The old flooring was removed and replaced with vinyl plank. We removed the old fireplace mantle and build a minimalistic piece spanning across the brick. The kicthen got a modern. makeover with a touch of colour. The stairs were refinished with oak and stained to match the mantle. Finally all the walls got a fresh coat of paint and all of the mismatched trim was replaced. We were super happy to work with these clients and know their space is one they can grow old in.

It's time for a Basement Before and After! We turned this unfinished basement into a place for extra family to stay. There is a spacious bedroom with walk-in closet and a three piece bathroom. We worked around the central furnace, sound proofing the entire space to ensure the bedroom was a great place to stay.

Our next bathroom feature is light and airy while using brass accents to add sophistication to its look! We removed a leaky shower, poorly done tile, and a huge jet tub to create this clean and bright space. The tub is a deep soaker with space to put a laptop for the ultimate at home retreat. The zero clearance shower features a large area for soaps and minimalistic easy to clean fixtures. The true star of the room is the sky blue tile from , it was used on both the shower and the bathtub for a splash of tasteful colour. We loved restoring this older window to keep the space bright.

We hope everyone had a good Canada Day and wonderful weekend! Returning to our highlight on bathrooms, we are proud to share this project! We renovated two bathrooms in a to be more accessible for its homeowners! A tiny closet shower room has become a sauna like resort, and an old acrylic unit has been switched out for a deep soaker. A fully tiled surround and accent wall enhances the cleanliness of the space.

Finally, in the same house we helped create the ultimate library! The old second kitchen was torn out, original floors refinished and new maple shelving put in. With a fully sliding ladder and customized shelves for books of all sizes this is a place where imagination lives.

We completely renovated a laundryroom and used cabinets for a budget friendly and functioning space.
We also roughed in a basement bathroom and completely renovated the upstairs ensuite. From completely gutted to bright and welcoming, this ensuite has a new skylight creating a truly zen bathroom.
