This is the Église Sainte-Marie in Church Point. My great great grandfather Léo Melanson was the Master carpenter that built this church in 1903-1905, with the help of some 1500 volunteers. The church is the largest wooden church in North America, towering at 185 feet to its tip. It's currently in need of significant repair, and is part of a restoration competition that is currently underway. You can go vote for it here!! https://nextgreatsave.us.launchpad6.com/NextGreatSave2026/entry/21 Also .... https://archives.novascotia.ca/communityalbums/sainte-marie/archives/?ID=1020
