This is the Église Sainte-Marie in Church Point. My great great grandfather Léo Melanson was the Master carpenter that built this church in 1903-1905, with the help of some 1500 volunteers. The church is the largest wooden church in North America, towering at 185 feet to its tip. It's currently in need of significant repair, and is part of a restoration competition that is currently underway. Custom made bed in stained white oak and cane. While this is not my own design, (I was given a reference photo to base my own plans off of) I really do love it.

Back in 2020 I helped the gents at Dear Friend buildout their space with tables, booth seating and their bar. The bar top was the centre piece by far. All the pattern work was hand made in Japanese Yosegi fashion, but sliced thicker on a bandsaw for durability.
If you have never been I highly recommend visiting Dear Friend for a masterful cocktail or tasty bite.

A cute little stair nook from awhile back.

A ten foot long walnut side board, for some lovely people in Halifax. Bookmatched doors, dovetailed drawers, and a hand rubbed hard wax oil finish. I would like to give a shot out to Christine from for her input on this piece.
