Beware the DEATH SWITCH! Before the kitchen renovation started, the previous owners of the house had stickers on all the switches, little arrows pointing to the light they controlled. It was this sticker that I found particularly interesting. Any guesses what it controlled?🧐

Sooo... you've got your cabinet guys, plumbers, carpenters and and countertop guys who do these amazing kitchen renovations and well I... Get to put the cherry on top by adding shiny lights! Well of coarse I have to put all the wiring in the right place before adding the shiny lights that is. So thankful to my lovely clients David and Linda for allowing me to be apart of their kitchen renovation!

Lower.. Lower.. and stop right there. My lovely customer took a picture to show me exactly where they would like to have the position of the repurposed Chandelier. Gonna have to use the wire stretcher tool on this one. For those of you who don't know what a wire stretcher tool looks like, the story goes back to Electrical apprenticeship days. Often the Journeymen Electrician would tell a new apprentice to go get him the wire stretcher, with details such as... it has a green handle, its silver, with a hook on one end... etc..etc. There is no such thing as a wire stretcher. Luckly for me and the customer, I could add more links and buy new fixture wire to make it to our desired length. Also.. it appears 80's brass fixtures could be making a come back baby!...

A lovely customer of mine asked if I would be willing to install her wired sercurity cameras she bought from Costco... Absolutely! It was a 6 x 4K camera system that records video and is remotely accessible through the App. Very neat! ... does anyone say neat anymore?

Welcome to another episode of LED lights gone BAD! With a good DJ, the right music and the strobe effect of the BAD LED light, they could be a good combo in hosting dance parties. But my lovely client, felt the utility room wasn't a practical place for such gatherings. So I changed the two LED lights in less than an hour.

Customer's hot tub, turned into a cold tub, with no jets and no power. Although Cold plunges are the latest craze, this customer preferred the later. This was definitely a don't touch that electrical moment. Possible culprits... bad breaker?, bad wire?, bad connections?, bad circuit board?, bad sensor?, or bad pump? Turned out to be the last thing to check, a bad pump that was tripping the circuit breaker. This particular pump was $400 dollars new, but customer was hot tubing again shortly after!
