Andropogon gerardii 'Blackhawks', often called Blackhawks Big Bluestem, is a striking ornamental grass known for its dramatic shift from deep green to near-black foliage as the season progresses. It was selected as the 2026 Perennial Plant of the Year by the Perennial Plant Association.
