Not every job is a big sexy high end remodel.
And that’s perfectly ok. Often the small repairs are the jobs that can provide the biggest opportunities to help our clients.
These photos are a super sexy new bathroom, but they represent a gruelling focused effort over 2 1/2 days to make sure our clients suffered as little inconvenience as possible while repairing the subfloor that failed around the toilet because of a leaking wax ring.
This is the kind of leak that you don’t notice until the damage is done. At that point no one is excited to call the contractor, but you need the job done and you want to get it done right as quickly and efficiently as possible.
And that’s what we did here. We did our consultation, and found that if we wanted to have a factory looking repair we would need to remove the vanity so that it could be installed over the new flooring. This meant we had to remove the sink counter and backsplash to take out the vanity.
In order to make sure our repair stopped there we picked a tile that would cover where the old backsplash was removed so that we don’t have to go to paint the walls.
With a plan, a timeline and a price our clients knew exactly what we were getting into before they started.
Before showing up to start this repair we sourced all our clients finish selections to make sure we could stick to our timeline. Despite finding some questionable plumbing on the toilet drain that we had to redo, we were able to repair this subfloor and have the bathroom back in service in less than 48 hours. 2 days of straight hustle and our clients had their home, privacy and bathroom back. It looks easy when you have the right contractor, but one wrong move turns your two job in to several days or weeks of the worst happens.
