Job Types: Full-time, Permanent or Occasional Tile Installer
Growing local company - Bela Flooring Inc. is seeking 2 apprentices and 4 professional tile setters to join our talented growing team to start March 1st 2022. We are booked till February 2023.
Job requires:
-Be able to follow instructions
-Work in a team or alone setting
-Hand-eye coordination
-Attention to detail
-Bending, crouching, kneeling
-Work at heights on a scale and ladder, reach over your head.
-Handling heavy loads up to 50 lbs
-Own a pair of steel toed boots
-Must show up to work on time
-Be responsible and respectful
-Class 5 an asset but not required by apprentices
Apprentices:
Tools will be provided to the right individual. Transportation and safety boots can be arranged.
Professionals:
Must supply their own tools, safety boots and transportation
Compensation Apprentices:
$18.00-$23.00 hourly
-Company paid lunchtime and two "15" minute coffee brakes
-Company paid overtime after 44 hours
-Saturdays 1.5x/hr
-Sunday 2.0x/hr (Only up on request by Supervisor)
Compensation Professionals:
By Square foot or By job. To be negotiated
Schedule:
-Monday to Friday 8am - 6pm
-Saturday 8am - 4pm
-Sunday : OFF ( work can be provided on this day)
