Just pluck and plant . A great starter plant or for gifting babies ! I had mine outside in full sun all summer and it never stopped producing Can handle lots of drought

There are graptopetalam/ echeveria hybrids I believe. They get very very large and tall. Great also for hanging arrangements. Thrive on neglect, drought and full sun. Great for rock gardens and poor soil. Shallow root systems great for small pots or any container you love like an old kettle or pan ! Selling small ones $5 each. This plant grows more through leaf cuttings. Always my favourite succulent inside and out.
