Awesome client with an awesome garden dream that Sweet Pea is making a reality! This was a big one. The client wanted a very low maintenance garden along the fence, so I chose perennials that will shift and offer color throughout the season. And of course we got some veggies growing- very pleased with these raised beds from Sproutbox Garden 🇨🇦! And I promise to expand my vocabulary for the next vid…😆

Sometimes a quick refresh in a garden is all you need! This client loves hostas, and wants to keep things neat and tidy. I removed all the w**ds and rehomed a bleeding heart and an astilbe to a nearby garden. I also transplanted a peony and a patch of day lilies here for better balance. After adding more hostas, top - dressing with compost and finishing off w mulch- this garden is looking crisp and will fill in perfectly.

This design took a few twists and turns before completion. I look forward to seeing the flowers tumbling out over the sides of the beds! I always get so excited about the project, that I forget to document the project! But I built these beds w 2 x 12s to keep them looking clean while offering a comfortable height for the client while tending to their new plant babies.

Day one complete of a garden re-design! This client is looking for a more balanced layout, with a colorful cottage garden vibe, re- purposing a fallen tress for the borders. Today I dug up the sod, figured out the new layout, placed temporary walls, and moved a few plants around until I go plant shopping. Still work to do here, but it’s already starting to take shape- do you see the vision?
