Thank you to everyone who came by on Sunday to chat about gardening with native plants and take a few new friends home to your gardens! You braved the cool breeze and threat of rain! My heart is so full after all of the conversations I had with so many people are transforming even the smallest of corners of their yards into pollinator habitat. Each of you is doing something amazing and I am truly thankful to be even a small part of it!

Don't forget the next in-person sale will be Sunday June 7, 2026. Full details are on earthrevival.ca and a list of plants available for that day will be posted no later than the Thursday before. We're crossing our fingers and toes that mother nature finally agrees that the weather should match the calendar so more species will be ready to go! 🤣

Details on the in person sale dates coming soon!

Here are just a few of the species that should be ready for sale in the next few weeks when we open, if Mother Nature cooperates and warms things up a bit more of course!

Allium cernuum (nodding onion), Aquilegia canadensis (columbine), Oenothera biennis (evening primrose), Geum triflorum (prairie smoke), Oenothera pilosella (prairie sundrops), Agastache foeniculum (anise hyssop), Iris versicolor (blue flag iris)
Solidago ohioense (ohio goldenrod), and Pycnanthemum tenuifolium (slender mountain mint).

Spring is finally here! The plants are beginning to wake up and that means it's almost time to get in the garden! We're excited to announce the opening of online sales and in person sales to kick off the 2026 growing season. As usual, the availability of species for sale through May and June will be determined by weather and sufficient plant growth.

Online sales will begin Friday May 15, 2026 on the website (earthrevival.ca). As per previous years, online sales will be for porch pick up in Stayner only.

In person sales will be held in Stayner on Sunday May 24, 2026 and Sunday June 7, 2026. Additional details for these sales will be announced closer to the dates.

A tentative list of species that will be available for sale in May and June is coming shortly!

I spent a few hours today winter sowing in preparation for the upcoming gardening season. 37 different species of plants are now sown and tucked into the snowbanks in the backyard! Thanks Mom for helping with the seeds today!

Hubby got me this sign for my home office for Christmas, he knows me too well! 😁 It might be the middle of winter but that doesn't mean I'm not dreaming of spring and digging in the earth!
