Wonnacott Daylily and Perennial Garden This page was set-up in order to share my gardens with others. I am also a daylily hybridizee and usually have some daylily seedlings and divisions for sale.

We also have a couple open garden days a year and are otherwise open to see the garden by appt.

Just wanted to take a minute to thank the Essex Hort Society members that made the trek to tour my garden on Sat. They had a bus bus load and I think a couple of extra ladies that drove as well. Below are just a few of the plants i had multiple people asking about. I also want to take a minute to thank all that purchased plants rest assured that money has all been spent on more plants lol. (Many of you seen me at Riverbend and I brought 8 new ones home) Today I purchased a weeping white spruce to replace a magnolia that we lost due to gurdiling.

First three pics are the guardian lavender Delphinium

Next is Forbiden Fruit hosta (some may have miss read the label in front of it which is for a much smaller hosta I probably should move)

Then we have the tall spires of the Foxtail lilies

And last is the variegated Brunnera

Last if you were here did you notice the funky leaves on this Risky Business? We will see what it does next spring and if stays true it will be split off.

On Wednesday I drove down to Wilsonville to Whistling gardens though I mostly went this trip to check out there nursery area i did take some time to walk there magnificent display gardens. They are famous for their peony and conefer collections. I was a little early for most of the peonies but the species types were blooming. I highly recommend visit in the next 2 -3 weeks if you can.

I did end up coming hope with two new Japanese maple which I will share in another post

Picture around the garden before work the hostas are really coming into there own in alot of areas as they start to hit the 3 year plus marks for a fair number. But still lots of young smaller ones I cant wait to see mature. All of the annuals I have bought so far and the ones I started from seed this year have been planted. Still need to get all my edging done before the first bus tour on June 13th
