My mother-law planted our starter carrots, leek, lettuce, tiny tim tomato, bunching onions and kale a few weeks ago.

All veggies planted in raised bed with compost soil.
Slow release fertilizer applied

A gardening tip: plant shrubs that flower at different times throughout the season. You will always have flowers.

These shrubs start to flower in May into June (depending on the weather😉).

Currently, all these shrubs are in stock for $12 in a 1 gallon pot.

Maintenance:
-prune Spring flowering shrubs after they are done flowering
- apply 1 application of slow release fertilizer
- water as needed until the ground freezes

These flowering shrubs are easy to maintain. Enjoy the flowers then prune and fertilize. If using a slow release fertilizer, give 1 application for the season. Water as needed until the ground freeze.
