What an exciting weekend for our family! My youngest daughter, Erika, graduated from high school. π©βπ
My kids have been my biggest supporters throughout the past few years as I worked to grow this business. When I got pregnant with my first child, I promised myself I would do whatever it took to always be home with them. That began with running a daycare out of our home for 17 years while they were little. Then, in 2020, I took the leap, closing the daycare and putting everything I had into my dream of growing plants.
This business has allowed me to continue being there for my children whenever they needed me. Looking back, though, I think they were there for me more.
Erika will be taking business courses and, thankfully, will one day be able to take over many of the behind the scenes tasks needed to keep this ever growing business running smoothly. I've always said that all I really want to do is grow plants and garden, so this feels like yet another dream coming true.
In these photos are my three kids Andrew, Erika, Adam and me. We were also able to get a photo of Erika with the amazing Deb, who is the one who creates so much of the magic in the greenhouse every day.
Congratulations, Erika! We are so proud of you and excited to see where your next chapter takes you. β€οΈππ±
