Roots are a big cause of weeping line failures. The roots will grow towards the bed as its a constant source of water. If your property has tree's close to the bed the roots will find there way to it eventually. As the roots start taking over the lines the water going to the bed will start to take longer to empty from the tank creating septic issues at peak times(showering, washing clothes and etc). Eventually it will stop allowing water in to the bed and raise the level in the tank which means you now have a holding tank rather then a working system, that you are pumping out all the time. Sometimes depending how your system is installed it will flood above the tank with very little impact to the household, still creating pooling and should be fixed as soon as possible to ensure the waste water is going to its proper place a working weeping bed.
