Today is National Green Building Day 🌿🏡 — a reminder that building better isn’t just about what a home looks like, it’s about how it performs, how it supports the people living in it, and the impact it has for years to come.
This project challenged us to think beyond a traditional renovation. The goal wasn’t simply to create a beautiful home — it was to create a healthier, smarter, and more sustainable one. From improved air quality and energy efficiency to accessibility features that support long-term living, every decision was made with the future in mind.
The result? Greater Vancouver’s first renovated Net Zero home and a Built Green Platinum-certified project designed as a complete home system — not just a collection of finishes.
🏆 Winner: Best Custom or Renovated Net Zero Home – National Awards
🏆 Finalist: Best Energy Labelled Whole House Renovation
Green building means creating homes that use less, perform better, and help homeowners live more comfortably every day.
