Mes sculptures sont des réflexions sur la vie d’une femme : des pensées incarnées en gestes, des intentions prises en mouvement. Quelques fois, un simple pli dans l’argile comprimée me rappelle comment c’était de m’étirer dans les champs d'été sous les derniers rayons de soleil … je suis ce pli et je crée cet étirement, jusqu’à ce qu’un «Être» me regarde et vibre avec ce mouvement. Je travaille av

ec le grès cuit dans une four à gaz, créant des pièces uniques qui donnent du caractère à la maison ou au jardin. Quelques unes de mes sculptures peuvent rester dehors à l'année. My sculptures are reflections on a woman's life: ponderings embodied in gesture, intent caught in movement. Sometimes just a fold in the wedged clay will remind me how it felt to stretch out on the meadow in the last rays of a summer's evening sun... and so I follow that fold, create that stretch, until a "Being" "looks back at me" and vibrates with it. I work in stoneware clay fired in a gas fired kiln, creating unique pieces that give character to a home or a garden.
