May Long Weekend (aka the May two-four, Hiking Day, or Victoria Day if you're feeling fancy) is here! And in Cape Breton that usually means one thing: people are heading back to the cottage, trailer, lake, or summer property for the first real check-in of the season.
And that’s usually when you find out what winter had to say. 🤣
Soft spots around the deck. Steps that shifted. A fence that didn’t make it through the wind. A driveway that washed out. A camp that needs a safer entrance. A future hot tub, porch, shed, or pool project that’s been on the list for too long.
That’s the kind of work Scotia Screw Piles can help with.
We work on practical outdoor projects across Cape Breton, including cottages, rural properties, waterfront lots, and year-round homes.
Decks. Fences. Outbuildings. Site prep. Retaining walls. Foundation support. Screw piles. Earth moving.
You don’t always need a huge rebuild. Sometimes the best project is the practical one that makes the place safer, sturdier, and easier to use.
If you’re opening things up this weekend and thinking, “Well, that needs fixing,” take a few pictures and send them along.
From Black Rock Road to Baddeck and all through cottage country Cape Breton, we’re booking spring and summer projects now.
Scotia Screw Piles can help with the kinds of jobs that make rural and cottage properties work better.
