☀️ On the road again! 🚙💨

This past week, the Sun Valley Greenhouses team has been traveling, meeting incredible new people, making great connections, and—most importantly—making backyard dreams come true across beautiful Atlantic Canada! 🔨🌱

From the rugged, wave-swept coastlines of Newfoundland to the peaceful lakefronts of Nova Scotia and the historic riverbends of New Brunswick, here’s a look at our latest custom installations:

✨ ‘The Quidi Vidi’ (6x10) – Installed in Torbay, NL. Tucked away in this historic, windswept coastal town where the East Coast Trail meets the Atlantic, we paired this greenhouse with a custom outside deck built perfectly for planter beds.

✨ ‘The Torbay’ – Installed in Portugal Cove-St. Philips, NL. Right on the edge of the Avalon Peninsula, known for its breathtaking ocean sunsets and rugged cliffs, this beauty features extra side-opening windows, a classic dutch door, and raised planter beds.

✨ ‘The Burlington’ (10x12) – Installed in Mount Uniacke, NS. Set against the quiet forests and historic charm of Mount Uniacke, this build is situated on the peaceful shores of the lake with a truly spectacular waterfront view! 🌊

✨ ‘The Bouctouche’ (10x20) – Installed in St. Stephen, NB. Located right on the scenic St. Croix River in Canada’s historic “Chocolate Town,” this gorgeous, spacious build features extra side-opening windows for maximum cross-ventilation.

✨ ‘The Hampton’ (8x8) – Installed in Saint John, NB. Set in Canada’s oldest incorporated city, famous for its historic brick architecture, industrial heart, and the incredible Reversing Falls Rapids where the river meets the Bay of Fundy. This cozy build was installed beautifully on an existing deck and features a charming dutch door! 🚪✨

🌿 May was a whirlwind of a month for our Central Newfoundland team! 🚐💨

We found ourselves traveling to some of the most stunning areas of our province that we have never been to before. There is truly nothing better than exploring this vast, beautiful land of ours while making connections with the absolute friendliest locals Newfoundland is known for. 💚

Here is a little recap of the beautiful spots we visited and the custom Sun Valley Greenhouses we left behind:

📍 Sandringham, Eastport Peninsula – A charming, historic agricultural community in Bonavista Bay. We installed “The Goose Bay” (10x20 Cedar), beautifully equipped with doors on both ends, growing beds, a bench, and a shelf.
📍 Raleigh, Northern Peninsula – A historic milestone for us! We did our first-ever installation on the tip of the Great Northern Peninsula in this quiet, remote fishing village. They chose “The St. Anthony” (10x30)—the very first of its kind here in NL—complete with beds, a shelf, and side-opening windows.
📍 Port aux Choix – Tucked into this scenic, rugged fishing town on the western coast of the Great Northern Peninsula, we set up a beautiful “The Burin” (8x14).
📍 Eddies Cove West – Known for its scenic shoreline and pristine waters, this quaint community is now home to “The Brigus” (8x18), featuring extra beds and shelves in a gorgeous, unstained natural cedar finish.
📍 Grand Falls-Windsor – We spent some quality time in Central’s largest hub!
First, we installed an unstained, natural cedar “The Burgeo” (10x16).
📍Next, right along the beautiful Exploits River, we set up “The Botwood” (8x20), boasting custom planting beds, a bench, and a shelf.

‘The Kensington’ 8x8 greenhouse with growing beds, perfectly nestled into a cozy deck space — an ideal retreat for peaceful mornings, fresh coffee, and quiet garden moments.

📍Breathtaking and ruggedly scenic Middle Cove
‘The Fogo’ 8x16 stained black to beautifully complement a stunning modern home build surrounded by Newfoundland’s dramatic coastal beauty and fresh ocean air.

📍Picturesque and welcoming Flatrock
‘The Burin’ 8x14 cedar greenhouse featuring a bench, shelf, and extra windows, thoughtfully placed on a concrete platform ready for endless seasons of planting, harvesting, and relaxing.

From peaceful coastal communities to vibrant historic towns, we are so grateful to bring handcrafted cedar greenhouses to such beautiful corners of Atlantic Canada 🌱✨

📍 Costal Happy Adventure, NL ‘The Brigus’ 8x18 complete with Growers shelving and a potting shelf.
📍 Charming Upper Onslow, NS ‘The Glooscap’ 8x10 beautifully built on a deck and surrounded by outdoor raised beds.
📍 Peaceful Grand-Barachois, NB ‘The Shediac’ 8x14 featuring two extra windows, Dutch door, shelving, and an exhaust fan.
📍 Picturesque Sundre, AB ‘The Fort McMurray’ 10x14 with side opening windows plus a bench and shelf setup.
📍 Vibrant St. John’s, NL ‘The Gander’ 6x12 nestled perfectly among existing raised beds.
📍 Beautiful Bay Roberts, NL ‘The Burgeo’ 10x16 complete with side opening windows and a Dutch door.

‘The Twillingate’ 8x10 cedar model has found its home in the picturesque town of Brigus—and after a long Newfoundland winter, this one feels extra special. ✨

Featuring a charming Dutch door, perfect for letting in the fresh spring air while keeping things cozy inside. 🌱

Nothing says spring is on the way quite like fresh cedar, greenhouse builds, and getting back in the soil. Let’s hope this is just the beginning.☀️

🌱 First install in Alberta for the 2026 season!

We headed to Pincher Creek to Deley Energy Services Inc. to set up this beauty — an 8x14 cedar model, “The Jasper”. 🏔️

This greenhouse is fully loaded with:
✨ Growing beds
✨ Shelf + potting bench
✨ Side-opening windows with automatic openers
✨ Ventilation fan for optimal airflow

Tucked away inside a charming enclosed fence, it’s the perfect little growing retreat — private, peaceful, and ready for a full season of thriving plants. 🌿
