INDOOR GARDEN TIP

If you want your hoya to bloom, allow it to climb! It will begin pushing out flower spurs within a year and will be covered in flowers soon after. The 2 hoyas shown in these pictures were flowerless for years until the owner guided it to climb and....voila...flower spurs galore.

If you're thinking of growing flowers, I highly recommend Statice (Limonium sinuatum)

PROS:
▪️ Feeds pollinators
▪️ Fresh cut flowers last 2 weeks
▪️ Come in a range of colours (white, yellow, pinks, purples and blue)
▪️ The best flower to dry as they don't brown and flowers remain perfect. Can very easily be dried perfectly for year round flower bouquets.
▪️ Easy to grow from seed (at $6 for 100 seeds it's cheap too)

CONS:
▪️ All the bees dancing in your garden in the morning
▪️ Neighbours stopping to admire your colorful and unique flowers
▪️ Wondering how to incorporate your colourful floral bouquets into your winter holiday decor
▪️ Wondering how you ever lived before you grew statice.
