I moved the lavender into the greenhouse. Some are looking sad. I'll start more soon.

Update on my peppers. I planted the seeds for the top peppers (Orangeville Peppers) on Feb 13 and they germinated on March 1.

The bottom peppers are Habanero. They were started on March 1 and germinated yesterday on March 15. The bottom right cup has a sage. I forget when I started that.

A productive day in the garden.

I planted garlic, covered the beds in leaves, harvested the remaining peppers in the greenhouse and cleaned it out.

I harvested some of my famous "Orangeville Tomatoes" ahead of tonight and tomorrow's frost.

When I moved to Orangeville in 2016, I found seeds for yellow pear tomatoes in the seed library at the Orangeville Public Library at the Mill St Branch.

I've been saving and regrowing the seeds every year since then. I've given some seeds to community members and I'm happy to say these plants always do well and produce lots of fruit.

In fact, I've been so pleased with how well these plants produce year after year, I decided to name them after our great town. Of course, the colour of them lends a bit to the name

Next year I plan to distribute a lot of the seeds and some plants to align with my goal of increasing gardening within the Town of Orangeville and show how to grow from a seed.
