Our Viva Swimming School project. This interesting project is a private swimming school with other side activities which tries to respond to the site specific conditions and limitations and create an inviting kids friendly space in a super narrow lot.
The site is a linear lot (22.6 m X 138 m) with a very small frontage to the street located strategically in the border line between a residential and industrial neighborhood.
The design challenge was accommodating several uses including 5 lanes standard pool, access to natural light, views in this narrow lot and also the dialogue between this geometry and its urban context. As a design solution, we came to the idea of introducing an open court yard in the middle of the property which provides users great view, natural light and also breaks the long building mass.

Tape-Mil Tourist Access Adaptation and Treatment of the Cultural Landscape.

Mound with fire temple has stood since the Sasanian Empire(from 224 to 651 AD) in Ray County, Iranian national heritage site.

We looked at the visitors’ journey at the site to improve visitator experience as well as defining the visitors proper itinerary/journey throw spaces. The big challenge was a cost friendly solution for passing the pond around the mound in spring and rainy seasons when it is full of water. The other goal of project was integrating historic preservation concerns with safety/security Issues which focuses on the maintenance stabilization, and repair of existing historic preservation methods as well as providing new preservation ones.

In contrast with the overwhelming presence of masonry work, we have used materials such as wood and salvaged metal for this project. Even though they have a degree of presence within the space, they can be disassembled. Each and every one of the elements added by this intervention has been anchored into the joints of the masonry work so that, if deemed necessary, everything can be removed without leaving a trace.
