I don't do tile very often. But I couldn't pass this one up.
I did a bunch of little odd jobs last month for a really nice Uxbridge family. Including this fireplace surround.

Went on a road trip to see my dad today. And then stopped in Bethany on my way home to see the very first custom home I built.
I forgot how nice it is. And much bigger than I remember. 🤯
5bdrm, 2bath, 2800sq'. With separate full bsmt suite, and connected two car garage/shop.

The original wraparound deck is still in great shape. Note each deckboard sculpted into the stone.
12 yrs and still as tight as can be.

Complete fence dismantle and rebuild due to rotted posts.
Decorative fence caps were under framed with 2-2x6, 2-2x4, and 2-1×2 pressure treated lumber. With 14 separate pieces of pvc moldings overlaid to make the final pattern.

I'm very proud of this project. Turn-key custom built 4900sq' raised bungalow.
4bed, 4.5 bath, Cathedral ceilings, Douglas fir exposed beams. With living/storage space above garage.
