Excited to get this .vertical EVE unit growing! We've started some seeds and testing out some new noots. We are experimenting to be able to harvest one salad per day.

🎶 Ground control to Tiny Tom! 🎶 If Bowie knew about .vertical, we’re sure he’d have changed the lyrics in honour of the Tiny Tom tomatoes that we’re growing in our indoor gardening system. Either that, or figure out a way to incorporate some Olympia spinach. We’ll suffice with just integrating it into our goals for now 💁🥗🍅🥬

🥒+🍈= Cucamelon!! Excited to be growing these hybridized fruits that are basically little cucumbers that grow to the size of a large oblong grape. Once they grow full term (which, honestly, will be itty bitty tiny), they’ll look like a mini watermelons, but will actually taste like a fresh cucumber mixed with a hint of lime. Hey little guys! 🌱 Lettuce, kale, and bok choi seedlings getting ready for their new homes in their and .vertical 🏡 If you see a purple glow, it’s because we have been using an LED grow light to help the photosynthesis of our seedlings. Below, we have a also been using a heat pad to support a more even germination. By the looks of things, these sprouts are ready for transplant!

All hail King Kale! 🥬 Tuscan Cavolo Nero is now a signature staple in my rotation. Because it’s so hardy, grows quickly, and has been slower to bolt than lettuce it makes the perfect base for my new signature All Hail King Kale Caesar salad! (More to come on that!) 🥗
