Teeple Architects extends our warmest congratulations to George Jacob on his feature in CEOWORLD Magazine! This well-deserved spotlight celebrates his visionary leadership and remark-able contributions, including his work on the The Philip J. Currie Dinosaur Museum.

“One of Jacob’s most celebrated achievements was his role as the founding president of the Philip J. Currie Dinosaur Museum in Alberta, Canada. Built in record time, this museum be-came a cultural and educational landmark, offering helicopter tours over dense dinosaur bone beds and winning nine awards within nine months of its opening. It was also named one of the top five destinations to visit by Air Canada magazine in 2015. This project showcased Jacob’s ability to integrate regional significance into museum design, creating a space that celebrated both scientific discovery and community pride.”

We’re thrilled to share that Haotian ‘HT’ Liu, Senior Associate at Teeple Architects, has been appointed as a member of the Whistler Advisory Design Panel for a two-year term ending on December 31, 2026.

The Whistler Advisory Design Panel is a Select Committee of Council, providing professional advice to municipal staff and Council on matters relating to development proposals, or policies affecting Whistler’s built environment.

Registration is now open for the Building Equality in Architecture Toronto (BEAT) Leadership Seminar: Technical Women in Architecture. The day-long event will feature a panel of five women, including Teeple’s Kendra Kusick, who will discuss how pursuing technical specialties can lead to a fulfilling career in architecture. The seminar, aimed at recent graduates and women, includes optional afternoon break-out sessions and tours.

The seminar will take place on Saturday, November 9, 2024,
from 9:30 am – 4 pm EST, at T3 Bayside, Toronto, ON.
