Choosing the right way to install will make or break your hardwood installation

There are two approaches to making sure that the hardwood adheres to your subfloor.

1. Glue assist and nail down

Involves using a sausage gun and drawing lines on the subfloor then using nails to finish the process

This is recommended for 5-7 1/2 inch planks.

2. Full spread glue down

Fully spreading the subflooring in adhesive, no nails are used.

This is recommended for over 8 inch planks
