As we exit Black History Month, we want to keep the awareness going with the story of something we take for granted every single day!

We expect to have our homes at the optimal temperature every day, and we have a woman, born in 1895 to thank for this.

While the Technicians at Accuserv are the ones to thank for keeping us comfortable today, It was Alice H. Parker who invented the first concept for a central heating system that ran on gas!

We can only imagine the struggles that Alice must have went through as an African American, Female inventor in the 1900's.

Great review from Donald... "Big thanks to AccuServ. My furnace fan broke on Boxing Day and after some poking at it and wishing I realized I couldn't fix it myself. I called a couple of the bigger companies thinking they'd be more equipped and available to fix my problem on a holiday. No response! AccuServ to the rescue!! They came out quick, diagnosed the problem, and fixed it the next day with a new part. Very thankful they were able to source the part, work on a holiday, and get my house back to toasty warm. Thanks again AccuServ!!"
