Hard to believe some of the tools available to homeowners for the purpose of gardening. Some of the tools such as shovels weight in at 25 lbs just to start. Lifting these heavy tools for some will prevent a person from loving their garden chores... for some it's not a chore but rather pleasurable. So we are going to recommend a few tools over the course of the next couple of weeks.. that will help you with your gardening tasks and you won't feel like you are working out at your local fitness club. Today we are going to introduce Pruning Shears.. and by-pass pruners. Fiskars is a great company that produces great gardening tools. They are sharp out of the package and ready to go. You can use these tools for pruning your hedges and shrubs. Depending on what you like a natural look or a hedged look. If you like the natural look use the by-pass pruners and selectively cut branches out.. achieve the shape you so desire. If you like a formal cut than use the Hedge Shears.. for your pruning. Enjoy your day.. light weight.. and sharp. You can re-sharpen at your local Store such as Alpine Lawn and Garden or Homeland Market which is Toronto's Top garden center.
