At first when I rolled up to site I was gonna ask Jay, why why he started from the top and worked down this 22/12 face. But it's -20c with the windchill, it's the last sheet he needs to install and even though the boss is the boss, sometimes the boss just has to S**U and just say "thank you".

But can we also take a minute to stop and admire that sub fascia doing the heavy lifting?

Exam season means our time with our latest co-op student is at an end. 

This is Christos, who’s been with us through the first semester of the school year as part of the Toronto District School Board co-op program.

Cold days, real job sites, real expectations and he showed up ready to work, learn, and contribute. Big thanks to Christos for the effort he put in while he was with us. 

We’re proud to support the co-op program and help give students real exposure to the trades, especially when most people are staying warm indoors. 

Good luck with the rest of high school, kid. 👊

It's a long December.

When the weather dips below freezing, always be wary that the chance for a polar bear attack is never zero. That's why it's crucial to keep building and moving forward.

Our lead Dan and the team are on to 2nd floor joists this week after making the necessary accomodation for additional insulation requested by the client. We had to take into account how this will affect our truss system as we build up the second floor while accommodating areas of the house with post to post windows that don't offer any flexibility in their dimensions.

Always gotta be looking two steps ahead.
