Earlier this summer, we successfully obtained approval from the Committee of Adjustment for a major renovation of an existing 1950s bungalow plus a new garden suite built over the existing garage structure.

Our goal? To preserve the original bones of both buildings and build something new over a solid foundation.

Permits for the garden suite are already underway, with a few design and lifestyle decisions still in the works before we move forward on the main house.

Earlier this year, we had the pleasure of designing and planning the renovation of a beautiful centuryold home nestled in Toronto’s historic Casa Loma neighborhood. This project represented what we value most; a curated renovation that honors both the individuality of our clients, the existing and the architectural heritage of the home, and the context of where it is located. Our goal was to reimagine their living space to reflect a modern lifestyle while maintaining the soul and craftsmanship that define the area’s character.

Every design decision was made with careful attention to context, froml the materials chosen to the proportions, details, and flow of the interior with the exteior. The result is a home that feels new yet grounded, seamlessly blending contemporary comfort with timeless design cues. To us, a curated renovation isn’t about imposing a style; it’s about listening to the space, understanding its story, and tailoring it to meet the needs and personalities of those who live within it.

With a crazy year coming to an end, we wanted to continue sharing our thoughts and ideas with you guys! In this case a glimpse of what's possible and the potential that every space has regardless of size. This once industrial style loft condo space was thoughtfully designed and curated towards our client's needs, unique personalities, and lifestyles...our goal? Remove the industrial feel and bring some warmth into it.

This 16,000 sq.ft beauty was approved without the need for committee of adjustment, however lots of compliance was required with regulatory municipal authorities and the TRCA. The design encompasses traditional elements adapted to our client's modern lifestyle. The aesthetics were determined through meticulous attention to detail and a rigurous conceptual development, finally evolving into a timeless architectural work of art that seamlessly blends form and function.

Value engineering further refined the project, ensuring efficiency witbout comprosing the integrity of its enduring aesthetic appeal. Special consideration was taken to maximize self-sufficiency, incorporating a geothermal mechanical system and solar panels into the design, ensuring environmental harmony alongside architectural elegance.
