Sometimes the right piece doesn’t exist.

We spent months searching for a mirror for this powder room and never found one that felt quite right. So instead of compromising, we made one.

Starting with a shape traced from a dining chair, we worked with Place des Arts and their ceramics program to develop a custom mirror frame from scratch. Through glaze testing, mockups, and a lot of experimentation, the final piece became the focal point of the room.

What made it even better was seeing the project become a learning opportunity - under the tutelage of Dan Severance the ceramics students transformed an idea on paper into a piece of art.

One of the best parts of design is knowing when to stop shopping and start creating.

When it comes to client satisfaction, every detail matters. We can’t tell you how many design decisions were made in this room, but the hardest was undoubtedly finding the perfect chair. Our client was a bit of a Goldilocks, but we were happy to support her along the way!

A kids’ bathroom - though you wouldn’t necessarily know it. Durable enough for daily use, but so beautiful the rest of the house might be a little jealous.

𝐁𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 → 𝐀𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫

This kitchen was a dark, closed-in space with laminate countertops, limited storage, and tired appliances. We reworked the plan to create a more open, functional space, then layered in warm wood cabinetry, and a deep green backsplash to bring character and depth.

The result is a kitchen that feels both modern and grounded - and far more connected to the rest of the home.

Some of the most important design decisions happen before any renovation begins.

This weekend we toured several Vancouver homes with a client — evaluating light, layout, character, and potential.

Finding the right house is often the first step in creating something truly special.

Currently working with clients across Vancouver and the North Shore.

Some of the most memorable homes aren’t neutral — they’re layered, warm, and quietly bold.

In Vancouver, many houses lean toward black, white, and beige. While clean and minimal, these palettes can feel generic; spaces that could belong to anyone, rather than truly reflecting the people who live there.

This bedroom was designed around rich color, natural materials, and subtle texture — creating a space that feels calm, but full of character.

We’re currently accepting Vancouver house renovation and furnishing projects.

If you’re planning updates to your home, whether a full renovation or a more layered furnishing approach, we’d love to hear more.
