Final thoughts on this final day of 🌅
It’s been a week of very early mornings and the odd late afternoon power nap as well😴
A week that has stirred up memories from the distant past of loved ones who have died, and also having some insight into how incredibly hard it must be to lose someone you love,to su***de or addiction.
My thoughts. So grateful for family, friends and community. They encourage, and help you to be
your best self. Grateful to myself as well, for showing up and genuinely wanting to make a difference. As a runner, I can’t resist how the final challenge “ What will carry you forward “ can be tied in to the love I have for this sport. Community-100%
Commitment 100%
Like life, show up when it’s hard, and always encourage your fellow runner❤️🏃‍♀️

Thanks to our amazing team eNeRGy and for all that you do❤️

Oh how she loved the birds!
My mom, Big M to her kids, June
A lover of all animals, especially dogs. A fabulous sense of humour,a kind person who was non judgmental and forgiving. She loved life and participated wholeheartedly in it. A survivor of WW2, she came to Canada as a war bride, settled into rural life and had a large family, nine in all❤️. On and off throughout her life, she struggled with mental illness, particularly depression. Almost impossible to understand as a child, almost unbearable to witness as an adult
I Rise For Her
I keep her in my heart daily, understanding more of what she went through, and taking comfort in the fact that her family was there, holding her hand, trying to to lead her to the sunlight

Every donation helps raise awareness and helps to fund research

This is my town, rhubarb capital of Ontario don’t you know! It has been my happy place for quite some time too.I’ve raised my daughters here, made amazing friends here, volunteered here, ran the roads ( literally) around this town, walked dogs and grandboys too❤️
The landscape is changing with houses and shops which makes me sad but I do understand that progress and change are a fact of life. This place is community, home, and somewhere I belong. It’s so comforting to know that I have a good place to return to at the end of the day.
Fond memories of the Teetzel farm, and surrounding fields of corn and soybeans. Ah, but all is not lost. Town may be changing, but I’m so grateful for all the beauty close by. Open fields, pastures, woods, lovely gravel roads.

Day 3 of wanted me to show a place in my community that matters .. well couldn’t pick just one 🙏❤️

Thanks Shedden

Day # 2 of the . I’m so grateful to be part of this amazing challenge and to share it with my awesome team eNeRGy2026
I look up at the sky this morning and I see such promise❤️😊I share this day with the nature that surrounds my garden, birds, bunnies and bugs as well. I share this sunrise with my girls, who likely don’t always appreciate it! They are concentrating on the bugs to be found for breakfast. The promise of a good day ahead that hopefully, with the help of others, can be felt by everyone eventually, who struggle with their mental health. Your donation goes a long way in funding research and education.

For five days in May, 25-29 , I will be joining thousands of Canadians who will be throwing off those cozy covers every morning to get out and see what so many take for granted… the sunrise. The gift of another day that many, who struggle with mental illness and addiction, do not have that luxury of enjoying. By bringing awareness and understanding, we hope to make a difference this week. The challenge for day 1 was to notice something most people miss and I would have to say to simply look up. That endless sky and how it is always in flux. We had a beautiful sunrise this morning at Scenic Park in London, but it was a lesson in enjoy the moment because the sky changed and in rolled the clouds
Look up and be amazed
