This home gym had severely deteriorated concrete that was crumbling and turning to sand underfoot. The floor needed more than just a cosmetic upgrade — it required proper restoration.

To address the condition of the concrete, we applied an epoxy base coat followed by a durable polyaspartic topcoat. This system helps bind and reinforce the deteriorating surface, providing added stability while helping prevent further breakdown.

Here is one of the most complex two-car garage projects we’ve tackled to date.

We spent 12 hours straight grinding the floor to remove the existing epoxy coating alone. When it comes to a long-lasting finish, proper preparation is everything, and at Next Level Epoxy, we go above and beyond to ensure every surface is properly prepared.

The drainage grates throughout the garage presented an additional challenge. The surrounding framing was heavily rusted, making it extremely difficult to properly prepare the concrete around these areas.
