Say hello to Tarta Gelatina! A Barcelona-based brand making colourful, playful pieces for the home (and beyond), founded by creative duo Paz & Marcel.

Born out of a desire to bring more colour and joy into everyday life, Tarta Gelatina creates feel-good pieces that are thoughtfully designed in Barcelona and made in small batches using organic and recycled fibres. They work closely with skilled artisans and keep things intentionally small, thoughtful and low-waste, from the organic and recycled materials they choose to their plastic-free packaging.

We’re so happy to welcome Tarta Gelatina to The Coast! We’ve got a little bit of everything to brighten up your space (and your outfit!) from cozy wool blankets and colourful cotton cushions to fun rugs, bathmats, ball caps, socks and hand fans. Basically, lots of very good excuses to add a little more colour to your everyday!

“Winneke de Groot and Felix van Dam are two artists working together under the name: ‘We are out of office’. They’re very DIY in their approach to art, skilled as screen printers, painters and illustrators. They run a small studio including a screen print and risograph workshop based in a cherry orchard just outside Utrecht, Netherlands. Their work is inspired by little rarities and memories they pick up in daily life. They use a wide range of media covering print, paiting, sculpture, textile and more. Their style is recognisable and has a bold and colourful aesthetic and reflects their graphic background.”

We’re loving our new chocolate from H!P Oat M!lk Chocolate and LOVE COCOA 🍫😋

Founded by James Cadbury, inspired by his great-great-great grandfather, Love Cocoa was created in 2016 with the purpose of producing delicious, high-quality chocolate in an ethical and sustainable way. The mainstream chocolate industry is a major contributor to global warming, deforestation and modern slavery; Love Cocoa wants to break the pattern. They are committed to protecting both people and the planet at every step of the production process, whilst also creating great-tasting chocolate. To date, they have planted over a million trees to fight against climate change.

With an aim to reinvent chocolate by replacing dairy with plant-based oat milk, H!P was then founded by James Cadbury in early 2021. In the 19th century, the Cadbury family revolutionised confectionery by producing one of the first milk chocolate bars. Nearly 200 years later, H!P is disrupting the chocolate market by rejecting the widespread dependence on dairy milk through the use of oat milk, a creamy and sustainable alternative.
